I recently invested in a location lighting kit for interiors. Three powerful monolights, a huge softbox, umbrellas, reflectors and attention to detail will be used to mimic daylight; creating soft ‘window’ light in poorly lit showrooms, making the sun shine on cloudy days and improving on any ambient lighting situation. The kit synchronises with small off-camera flashguns where space is limited for versatility in any situation.
This makes commissioning more affordable by avoiding third-party hire fees totalling at least £160 per day.
