Landscape... This is a starting point for my "Hinterland" project. I don't know where it is taking me, but I may be with it for many years to come. I am imagining whole areas of woodland lit in the same impossible, surreal manner, with strong artificial lighting (see earlier posts for the huge LED light).
Nature is touched by man in all ways. It is shit on by pollution and development, it is photographed and digitally distributed, it is studied and recorded. Nothing is left alone anymore; we as a species have to have our hands everywhere; to control and know everything. Consider the red light man's mark of ownership and interrogation.
