I am making a very original, portable DIY photographic light.
It will be a 4ft long, very bright 1200 LED light powered by a car battery.
The car battery is portable (in a suitcase), and the light itself folds flat and weighs
very little.
Because of this, I will be able to hoist the light up high into treetops with ropes, and
power it with long cables.
The plan is to illuminate forests at night with neon colours. A statement about the
assault of the natural world by encroaching urban environments perhaps?
Either way, I will post some pictures of the finished light in the next few days.
